This policy explains what personal information the IClinix Advanced Eye Care website (iclinix.in) collects, why we collect it and how we protect it. It covers this website only. Your medical records at our centres are kept separately, under the rules that apply to medical records in India.
Who we are
IClinix Advanced Eye Care runs eye care centres in Lajpat Nagar, Paschim Vihar and Shakti Nagar (New Delhi), Gurugram and Panipat. For the information collected through this website, IClinix decides how it is used — the “data fiduciary” under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Appointment and enquiry forms: your name, phone number, preferred centre and anything you write in the message box. A message may include details about your eyes or health — please share only what you are comfortable with; our team will ask for anything else at your consultation.
- IClinix Academy applications: your name, phone number, email address, qualification, the programme you are interested in and your message.
- WhatsApp, phone and email: if you contact us this way, we receive what you send. WhatsApp messages are also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms.
Information collected automatically
- Technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit. Our hosting provider and our security and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare) process this to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. To stop spam and break-in attempts, the website briefly keeps a record linked to your IP address — for example, when too many forms are sent or wrong passwords are tried.
- Cookies and similar technologies: we use Google Tag Manager to load Google’s measurement tools, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. These set cookies that tell us how visitors find and use the website and whether our advertising works — for example, that someone who clicked an advert later requested an appointment. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website still works without them.
Embedded content
Some pages show content from other services: patient videos from YouTube and maps from Google Maps. The YouTube videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode and load only when you tap play. When they load, these services may receive your IP address and set their own cookies, under their own privacy policies.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and to arrange, confirm or change your appointment;
- to process your Academy application;
- to understand how the website is used, improve it and measure our advertising;
- to keep the website secure; and
- to meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
- Service providers who run parts of the website for us — hosting, email delivery, security, analytics and advertising measurement — only for those purposes.
- Your insurer or TPA, only when you ask us to arrange cashless treatment.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to respond to you and follow up on your care, unless the law requires a longer period. If you become our patient, your records are kept as medical records under the rules that apply to them.
How we protect it
The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Form submissions are stored on our website and sent to our care team’s mailbox, and only authorised staff can see them.
Children
If you are booking for a child — for example a paediatric, squint or ROP appointment — please fill in the form yourself as the parent or guardian.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct, complete or update it;
- erase it, once it is no longer needed for the purpose you gave it for or for a legal reason;
- stop using it where you gave your consent — you can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it; and
- nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you are unable to.
You also have the right to have a grievance addressed. Please write to us first; if you are not satisfied with our response, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India.

We may update this policy as our website or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
